Dr. Rebecca J. Bennett, Herbert McElveen Professor of Management at Louisiana Tech, presented a paper titled “Status Differentiation & the Protean Self” at the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) Research Seminar on Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management in Rotterdam, Holland. Professor Christain Troester of Eramus University in Rotterdam collaborated with Bennett on the presentation.  In addition to presenting at the seminar, Bennett, a guest scholar, spent several days meeting with faculty and doctoral students at Eramus University regarding research interests . Bennett joined the College of Business at Louisiana Tech University in 2004.  She received her doctorate from Northwestern University in organizational behavior and is an expert in the area of employee deviance and responses to offenses in the workplace.
