New ideas, growing businesses to be showcased at I-20 Top Twenty
Louisiana Tech’s University Hall will transform into a marketplace of ideas and innovation Tuesday, May 1 for the annual I-20 Top Twenty regional showcase.
The event will feature ventures and founders who are leading economic growth across north Louisiana and will facilitate the formation of relationships between peers and experienced entrepreneurs alike.
The Top Twenty event will offer a chance to connect with other businesses and resources. Forward-thinking individuals and entrepreneurs of both established and new ventures are encouraged to take part and exchange inspiration and ideas.
Featured ventures will provide updates on their new product offerings and services, and innovative research technologies and ideas will be highlighted. The showcase will also include different developmental and supportive resources, and contacts associated with these programs will be available to those in attendance.
Participants can consider University resources such as the Great Maker Show and the Founder’s Forum that are aimed at bridging the gap between having an idea and bringing it to life.
“The I-20 Top Twenty is always an exciting opportunity for the exchange of information and ideas that stimulates thinking about things in a different way,” said Kathy Wyatt, director of Tech’s Enterprise Center. “It is our goal for people to leave this event with increased appreciation for the developments occurring within our region, an expanded professional network, and the motivation to amplify the impact of their investment in north Louisiana.”
The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in University Hall. Attendees are encouraged to invite other associates and peers who will recognize the importance of gathering to share experiences and ideas with others of similar interests.
The I-20 Top Twenty will provide insight into economic activity in the area and resources available to new and growing ventures, and will also give attendees a chance to build networks with peers and potential mentors.
