College of Business to co-host annual Business Outlook Summit

Local and national business experts will deliver economic forecasts for the nation, region and state at the 9th Annual Business Outlook Summit, Friday, April 19. Sponsored by Community Trust Bank, the event will be held at the CenturyLink headquarters in Monroe from 8:30 a.m. to noon with registration beginning at 8 a.m. Delivering the economic outlook for the nation will be keynote speaker John Stoltzfus, managing director and chief market strategist for Oppenheimer Asset Management Inc. in New York City.  The regional and state economic outlook will be presented by Dr. John Francis, assistant professor of economics at Louisiana Tech University and Dr. Robert Eisenstadt, associate professor of economics at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Sponsors for the event include Community Trust Bank (conference sponsor), Oppenheimer Asset Management Inc. (keynote speaker sponsor), P&S Surgical Hospital (regional outlook speaker sponsor), CenturyLink and Centric Federal Credit Union (corporate sponsors).
