Sustainable Supply Chain Management program receives donation

The Purchasing Management Association of Lou-Ark has generously made a donation of $11,900 to the Sustainable Supply Chain Management program in Louisiana Tech University’s College of Business.

Students majoring in Sustainable Supply Chain Management study subjects related to sourcing, scheduling, logistics, SAP, information systems and strategy.  Graduates have found employment as purchasing analysts, production schedulers and quality control analysts at companies such as Halliburton, Honeywell, Georgia Pacific, Boise, Cameron, Lufkin Industries, Gardner-Denver, PoolCorp and Louisiana Corrugated.

The money donated by the Purchasing Management Association of Lou-Ark will be used to directly benefit students majoring in Sustainable Supply Chain Management by providing funds for things such as scholarships, guest speakers, software, certification training, and study materials.
