Center for Executive and Professional Development

Housed in the College of Business at Louisiana Tech University, the Center for Executive and Professional Development is a faculty-led enterprise house. For business professionals looking to build on previous education or improve skill sets, the Center can provide that partnership in a non-degree continuing education.

Through seminars, workshops, specialized courses, and certificate programs, the Center works to help professionals advance their careers and enhance the performance of their organizations. Students will gain access to state-of-the-art facilities and training from highly skilled experts both on campus and off at dynamic off-site locations as well. Courses and seminars are available to individual professionals, managers, leaders and executives on an open-enrollment basis, and can also be delivered and presented to organizations at their onsite business location as well.

Louisiana Tech University School of Banking

The Louisiana Tech University School of Banking, presented by the College of Business in collaboration with the Louisiana Bankers Association, aims to expand the skills and knowledge base of rising bank leaders, regulators, and vendors. With a strategic focus on fintech, innovation, regional economic development, technology in banking services, and information security, this school is ideal for those with three or more years of industry experience. Lecture Series

The College of Business regularly brings guests to campus to speak on issues central to the College’s core academic themes. Open to both students and the community, specific annual lectures/workshops include Inside the C-Suite, Sustainability Lecture, Global Lecture, Technology Lecture, Marbury Ethics Lecture, Bankers Day, and Entrepreneurship Lecture Series. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Forum

The College of Business is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in business, in society, and at Louisiana Tech. The annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Forum is a virtual conference featuring panel discussions and presentations by DEI thought-leaders from top global corporations. Past topics from executives at IBM, GDIT, Microsoft, Deloitte, General Motors, and JP Morgan Chase, among others, include cultural intelligence, inclusion and employee engagement, allyship, unconscious bias, and inclusion leadership.
