The School of Accountancy at Louisiana Tech University is one of the oldest and most respected accounting programs in Louisiana. We hold one of the first accounting-accredited programs in the United States and the very first in Louisiana. Our academic programs are designed to help students master the overall knowledge and develop analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills to prepare them for the CPA exam and for a career as a professional accountant. We have continuously and successfully placed graduates into strong career paths because of the strong relationships we have with accounting firms and the corporate world.

The School of Accounting is dedicated to the intellectual growth of its students and to their preparation for successful careers and productive lives. We facilitate this through extensive, personal faculty-student interaction, curricula designed to provide students an understanding of business administration with a focus on accounting and our connections to the industry such as our full charter membership with the Federation of Schools of Accountancy. Our overall quality is measured by the success of our graduates.
